Wheat Cake Premix

Sree Foods Wheat Cake Premix lets you bake a soft, fresh cake at home without hunting for ingredients. The flour, flavour and sweetener are already mixed in the pack. You only add milk and butter, pour the batter into a tin and bake.

Build your own cake on this page: vanilla or chocolate flavour, sugar or jaggery as the sweetener, and a pack that makes a 250 g or 500 g cake. This premix is wheat based, so it contains gluten and is not gluten-free.

1. Empty the cake premix into a large bowl.
2. Add milk and melted butter as per pack directions.
3. Mix gently into a smooth batter. Do not over-mix.
4. Pour into a greased and lined cake tin.
5. Bake in a preheated oven as per pack directions, until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
6. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then turn out and serve.

Shelf life: Best consumed within 1 month of the packing date when stored as directed.

Storage: Keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Always use a clean, dry spoon. Store the baked cake in an airtight box and eat it within 2 to 3 days.
